Biolane^® (Green Lipped Mussel Extract Powder)

The discovery of the beneficial properties of the New Zealand Green Lipped Mussel Extract came from work done in the United States. In the 1960s, researchers came across to new material Green lipped musself which is believed to have some impact on joint problems. Indigenous tribe in New Zealand Maori took green lipped mussel dairy on purpose of keeping their health and nutritional fortification. Since then, there has been many researches done worldwide and scientific researches proved Green lipped mussel does contain anti-inflammatory agents. Nowadays, GLME is used by humans and animals to keep their joint healthy. In USA and Europe, GLME products have been commonly used as dietary supplement for better QOL for a long time.

Green lipped mussels are farmed in non-polluted New Zealand water. The government requires water quality survey regularly for producing highly safe product.

The mussel extract is produced under license to a patented method. The process was developed to ensure the eactivityf present in the shellfish not to be destroyed in the processing phase of the operation.

  Biolane^® contains 1.7~2.4 more protein than Oyster extract. Proteoglycan which is known to work as cushion for joint, is particle of protein and polysaccharide connection. Biolane^® does contain rich amount of this composition.

  Biolane^® contains well balanced amino acid composition. In comparison with Oyster extract, our product contains, 5 times rich amount of lysine, 4,7 times leucine and methionine, and 1.4 times more amount of glutamic acid.

  Green lipped mussel glycogen contains main composition that has treatment function. It is unique composition only contained in Green lipped mussel. It cannot be seen in blue mussel or any other sea mussels.
